Let's Talk About Where We Live!
WHAT IS THE FITZWILLIAM HOUSING GROUP
As part of Governor Sununu’s $100 million InvestNH initiative, Fitzwilliam is participating in the Housing Opportunity Planning (HOP) grant program. This program is intended to help New Hampshire communities understand and address their housing needs at a time when the state is experiencing record low-vacancy rates and an acute shortage of available and affordable housing. Over the next year, the Fitzwilliam Planning Board and Housing Working Group will be working with land use consultants to gather information, engage the community, and review the Town’s regulatory tools to establish goals for future housing development and identify any potential barriers to the kinds of housing solutions that Fitzwilliam residents are seeking. This process will be community-driven and transparent.
