PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to RSA 231:191, no motor vehicle having a gross weight of six (6) tons or greater shall operate on town roads effective March 9, 2026 through May 15, 2026.

FITZWILLIAM HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT: TEMPLETON TURNPIKE RD CLOSURE DUE TO BRIDGE REPAIR:#673 Templeton Turnpike Rd must use the #4 side to enter and exit. Numbers 680 Templeton Turnpike Rd and beyond must enter and exit via Sandy Hollow Rd or go through Massachusetts.
We have received the approved wetlands permit from NHDES. As part of this approval, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers must complete a review. The Corps had up to 30 days to determine whether additional information is required or if an individual federal permit will be necessary. The thirty day time frame has passed with no additional comment. We have been in contact with the contractor that will be working on this project with the town, They are expecting to start work at the end of April. It is dependent upon the water level of the stream.
